FINDING THE PASSION IN US AND OUR KIDS
Enjoy today’s blog post a repost from 2016.
This is my most memorable blog post “Finding the Passion in Us and Our Kids” my personal pivoting point to start caring for myself, maybe that’s why I want to share it again.
I was so angry when I wrote it in August of 2016, I initially wrote it as newsletter then; It reflects the state I was in when I started blogging; cheated, ugly and overwhelmed and how I felt I had not fulfilled my passion, my purpose, my God-given potential in a balanced way because some areas of my life were getting more than other areas.
It’s hard to have all your comforts taken away when your fairy tale life ends, and having no clue where to start or pickup and harder still helping other people during that time and secretly thinking they’ll have the right answer as you wait for them to ask the right question.
It’s hard to wait for permission, validation and prophesy and not get it where you think you should.
And that’s what happens in the real world our validation and prophesy may not come from our friends, our family or church, it mostly comes from strangers.
A small dose of validation, prophesy, permission given to a random stranger goes a long way to inspire a person who has a dream already or fire up ideas for new dreams if they never had any in the past.
So, go in search of your passion my friend and watch where your validation, permission and prophesy comes from.
You were created to awake this in yourself, no one can save you but you.
I’m crazy about passion in us and our kids… and keep wondering how the dreaming stops in us…
Who re-programmed you and I, made us stop believing in the power to create we had as a child.
Tell a young child, Gloria said to follow his/her dreams and to stay focused on it to bring that crazy passion to life.
Lift them up. Be the one that tells a child they are great at what they do even if it’s not great yet, and watch it bloom.
I have inserted all my memorable and empowering post link throughout this post; like, comment and share!
You rock, now go inspire the world!

Encouragement from an optimistic single mom.
Life changed for me in 2008, and since then it has been an adventure.
I have learnt to love the road I am on, and smell the roses while driving on it too.
I believe that standards of living can change without a moment’s notice, affecting our old way of life.
That Passion can die, and be reignited again.
I found my passion and It’s writing and the story behind it.
I’m super passionate about hospitality, leadership and finance.
I am a single mom of boys who wants to change the world through a smile and genuine service.
I own up to the fact that I make an awesome follower.
I encourage and I inspire. I write, I blog, sometimes – I lead well, and sometimes I follow badly. But the important thing is to get started.
I recently met Simon Sinek, the Start with Why Guy and and so continue to inspire the world.
