6 Things You Must Have in Your Pantry When School Starts
School is Back in Session!
As school gets into full swing in most parts of the United States and other parts of the world it is a good time for most of us to watch what we spend our money on and or get on a budget.
If you are looking to get on a budget or scouting for ideas start with these items, try to always have them in your pantry.
They save you time, since they are holdover foods for the children to eat so you don’t go to the grocery store before your next grocery run and that’s means more money in the bank account for you.
An unplanned grocery trip depending on the family size will cost you from $45 to $85, this survey was using my family adventures before I figured having pantry staples out.
The 6 Things are:
-
-
Bread
-
-
-
Butter
-
-
-
Chocolate Drink
-
-
-
Powdered Milk
-
-
-
Ramen Noodles
-
-
Taco (ground turkey/chicken/fish, canned beans, frozen corn, salsa, salad, taco style cheese, mozzarella)
These six are simple and easy to make, they are all tried and tested by me, so I can say I approve this message.
I have them in my pantry and I’m sure you have some of them too, having all these saves me from going to the store on Wednesday or Thursday night since I shop mostly on weekends. When do you prefer doing your shopping, are you a weekly, twice a week or monthly shopper?
The Taco idea was a game changer it’s healthy and easy to create, and I found it earlier this year when I listened to NPR radio and the 365 Days of Taco Challenge, I have enjoyed coming up with various versions of it.
Have fun cooking this school year.
Need grocery coupons for your shopping trip? Click here I advice you not to stockpile, print only what you need to eat for a month, don’t get into addictive couponing.
