My Notes Listenting to Simon Sinek – Career Paths for Kids
Pre-Teen to Teens Years:
- Try lots of things as a teenager; seminars, workshops, GT classes, GT Courses, A/P classes, explore your school library, community library, explore your neighbourhood history, the museums, parks, volunteer, work on projects, etc.
- Explore ways to sit in or listen in on college classes for fun while in high school.
High School to Early College Years:
- Choose classes taught by the professors with the best ratings.
- Try out different subjects before registering for them.
- Try out different electives, doing this gives you an idea of what you may like doing if you’re not sure which career or profession to choose.
- Try out different professors classes.
After College Years:
- After college experiment with travel, new friends, mentorship and enjoy the journey.
- Simon Sinek says, remember you can’t figure it all out on day one.
