My Notes Listening to Elon Musk on Entrepreneurship and Innovation In Education
This is a summary of my notes from listening to Elon Musk talking about education, and what every curious child should do now.
- Ask your teacher to explain the Why of your class to you, “the why is the relevance of the class, why you should be curious about it”.
- Teachers should explain why they are teaching a class to students e.g english or math why are they learning it, they should explain the why of things on the first day of the class.
- Students must learn to pick a problem and use the educational tools like; math, english, biology, physics, arts, geography to solve a problem. My personal interpretation of how to use educational tools is to think of a problem that you can help solve in your community: individually or as part of a group and apply these tools to solve them.
- Space engineering, education and entrepreneurialism is the future, there will be lots of problems to solve in the world and outer space, some of the classes needed to thrive in the future include the ones below, some of the skills needed are building, critical thinking and creativity.
